There are so many weird things with this I cannot even guess what to begin with.Alvihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14498714871374944044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8086806519830822483.post-33293575599594811112015-12-28T05:32:48.238-06:002015-12-28T05:32:48.238-06:00Hi cyber the WTC does appear in this episode in a ...Hi cyber the WTC does appear in this episode in a quick flying shot (and in the 3rd act of the Digimon Movie). Though some people confuse the twin buildings seen behind Davis at Central Park with the WTC, the WTC was only shown for like 2 seconds in this episodebecerraedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11442059946235919462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8086806519830822483.post-29657566634086940032015-06-19T21:41:55.582-05:002015-06-19T21:41:55.582-05:00...Actually, upon further review, it's the ori......Actually, upon further review, it's the original Adventure that is set in the same year it aired; 02, by extension, is set a year or two after its airdates.

...Wait, we've got something set in December of 2002, in New York City, that actually aired in January of 2001. Which is a short enough distance into the future that it would be pretty brazen not to assume that the New York City skyline wouldn't have changed drastically.

Can anyone confirm whether or not they actually showed the Twin Towers? Because that would be absolutely incredible. I know there was a movie that came out in 2000 set a couple of decades in the future that had the Twin Towers having been destroyed, probably in reference to the fact that they were attacked once before, in 1993, but... Man, I really want to know if they showed the NYC skyline and if so, if the Towers were there.Cyberchao Xhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06336972467955722928noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8086806519830822483.post-81975450824569830982014-11-07T21:19:24.983-06:002014-11-07T21:19:24.983-06:00This comment has been removed by the author.becerraedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11442059946235919462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8086806519830822483.post-40451744928193972942013-10-05T09:18:10.437-05:002013-10-05T09:18:10.437-05:00I will give this episode credit for some of the fu...I will give this episode credit for some of the funny lines, most of all this one:

(upon seeing the monsters lined up on the border) "Looks like we landed in the middle of a B-movie."Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8086806519830822483.post-19470245227873025572012-10-28T11:49:49.357-05:002012-10-28T11:49:49.357-05:00Actually, there's no good reason for it to tak...Actually, there's no good reason for it to take place during the Bush Administration. By the time this episode actually aired in the U.S., Bush had already taken office, but when it first aired in Japan, let alone during production, Clinton was still president. (Actually, looking up airdates on the Digimon Wikia, this is the last episode with a Japanese airdate during the Clinton Administration--January 14, 2001, six days before Inauguration Day.)Cyberchao Xhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06336972467955722928noreply@blogger.com
